This is a photo of the original rug hooked in 1875-1900. A floral rug of red and pink roses, red tulips and berries on a dark background that has faded to several shades of greens in sections. There are vases of a single bloom, in each corner. The border has motifs that I modified into diamonds. I also modified the length of the berry clusters on each end. This is beautiful when hooked!
