This is a photo of the original rug, hooked in the 1800's.
This rug has thirteen stars on blue fields. It is a geometric design with different shades of red, white and blue. It has been said that it was hooked with old flags. The original size measures 50.5 x 54 inches. The stripes are larger than they appear!
